Our Compassion to IncreaseRev. Pepper Swanson
Sunday, July 21, 2024
Mark 6:30-34, 53-56
Psalm 23
Description
In comparison to Greek & Roman gods, Jesus is unusual for his compassionate nature as demonstrated by his concern for his disciples and the people who seek him out. My sermon will explore examples of his compassion for us mortals and how his compassion is not only a role model for our own behavior but also a moral standard we can use to evaluate others, especially those who seek to serve or shepherd others.A sermon by Rev. Pepper Swanson presented on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
